Face-to-face Computing with SUR40

In today's world, be it in the business or in the public sector, collaboration is a huge workplace component. Great things happen where shared ideas and openness are promoted. In the past few years, we have seen some leaps of growth in technology that is enabling this environment. In this post, I will talk about a multi-user computing product that takes collaboration into the next level- Samsung SUR40 with Microsoft® PixelSense™

Samsung SUR40 enables users to share, collaborate and work together, providing a face-to-face computing experience, using its large, thin touch display that recognizes fingers, hands and other objects. Users can work on an individual or collaborative project at the same time, using the functionalities that use a range of social multi-user applications. The table-shape allows users to have a clear view of the screen. Interactions can be done through gestures, fingers or hands, which takes the touch control and grab features to the next level.

The device comes with the legs that enables it to be used in a coffee table shape, however, it can also be mounted on the wall. The SUR40 is aimed at the business sectors where multi-user collaboration is necessary and in places where users or clients need to access information quickly. The retail , travel, education, healthcare, hospitality and creative industries can highly benefit from the SUR40 experience.
